Thank you for choosing First Steps ED.
Our team support individuals throughout the UK to ensure eating disorder support is available and accessible to all. Whilst we are commissioned to work across a number of regions, we rely on the generosity of individual fundraisers, sponsors and charitable support from businesses and organisations to keep our charity going (and growing!) We can’t do it without you!
Following support and sustained recovery, many of our service users and their families team up with First Steps ED to hold their own fundraising events, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for our charity, and campaign for better education and support for eating disorders. Check out the ideas and inspiration listed on our page to learn more about how you can get involved!
As a fundraiser, you can help us continue to provide support and education to anyone affected by poor mental health and eating disorders, without judgement or discrimination. Over the year we will respond to over 1250 self and professional referrals for one-to-one direct support for their mental health, as well as offer support and training in both education and professional settings.
In supporting us, you will help us continue to fight for earlier and better treatment for mental health issues, something the team is passionate about. Don’t forget to read our Fundraising Guidelines before you get started.
Quick and Easy Ways to Fundraise.
No time to fundraise? Did you know that you can still support us, simply by shopping or completing your every-day tasks?
For Everyone
Come together with your friends and family and raise money for a cause close to your hearts.
Not only does it help raise money for our lifeline services, it also helps to raise awareness for what we do. Your event might just give someone the confidence they need to reach out and get support.
For Workplaces
Your business can help us to continue the important work we do with children and adults, as well as their families who play an important role in their loved ones recovery.
A partnership will also show your team that their hard work each year contributes to something beyond the workplace.
