Light up a light on the First Steps ED Tree of Hope
This festive season, join First Steps ED in lighting up our virtual Christmas Tree of Hope. We want you to share your messages of support for yourself and others you may know showing compassion for those impacted by eating disorders. Each light on our tree represents a hope for the future and a commitment to creating a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and understood. By lighting up our tree, you’re helping raise awareness of eating disorders and ensuring that First Steps ED can continue providing vital support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders.
Make this season a little brighter for those who need it most. Sponsor a light, honour someone special, or simply show you care. Let’s come together and light the way for every step of the journey.
The Christmas season can be really tough for anyone affected by an eating disorder including their families. While many are celebrating and enjoying festive meals, those struggling often feel a lot of pressure and anxiety around food and body image. This time of year can make people feel more alone and stressed, which takes away from the joy of the season.
Your support this Christmas can truly make a difference. By joining our campaign, you’re helping raise awareness and providing messages of hope to those who need it. Together, we can spread kindness and understanding, so no one has to face these challenges alone during the holidays.
To help light up our Tree of Hope
- Visit our virtual Christmas Tree
- Choose your light or star
- Upload a message and you can include a photo if you want
Once you have done this, you and your family can see the tree at anytime from anywhere. If you would prefer to complete a form for us to put your light and message on the virtual tree, please call Emma on 01332 959760
You can make a donation of any value for a light. There is a minimum donation for stars.
You can have more than one light and choose the value of your donation knowing it will help First Steps ED support people across the UK affected by eating disorders
Anyone can light up a light, whether that be as message of hope, a dedication to someone affected or in memory of someone you miss.
How your light will help
The value of your donation is down to you, but each donation will help First Steps ED support children and adults across the UK affected by eating disorders.
