Leave a Legacy: Make a Lasting Impact

Including a legacy gift in your will is one of the most impactful ways to ensure we can continue our essential work supporting those affected by eating disorders.

Why Legacy Giving Matters

Legacy gifts empower us to make enduring changes in the lives of people touched by eating disorders. Your support ensures we can be there for everyone who needs us, now and in the future, so that no one has to face this struggle alone.

Why People Choose to Give

People remember us in their wills for various reasons, whether to honor a loved one, celebrate recovery, or simply to support our mission. Every legacy gift, no matter the size, helps us alleviate the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders.

How you can make a difference

By including us in your will, you help secure a future where we can always provide the necessary support to individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Your gift ensures that we can continue our vital work, offering hope, choices and opportunities to those in need.

How to Get Started

Making a will allows you to ensure your wishes are honoured and the people and causes you care about are provided for. After taking care of your loved ones, remembering us in your will means we can continue to provide support and continue research into eating disorders.

We have partnered with Kwil to give you the opportunity to write your will and fortify your family’s future, all whilst supporting First Steps ED.

There are two different ways to leave First Steps ED a gift.

  • Pecuniary gifts – a specified sum of money or percentage of the residue estate
  • Residual gifts – these are made up of what is left of the estate or part of the remaining estate
