Video Clinic

First Steps ED is providing a reduced face to face service to our most vulnerable service users, which includes the work we deliver as an integrated team with our NHS Adults and CAMHS Eating Disorders teams.

During the current COVID-19 situation and in accordance with UK Government guidelines our young people, adults, parents/carers services, can receive our support services via our private and encrypted video clinic platform.

You don’t need to download an app, have any special software, simply click on the appointment link we send you by text or email (or both) confirming your video clinic time and date, and an accompanying calander.ics file which we encourage you to open and save to your device calendar.

Our Video clinic enables service users to attend online face to face sessions with us on a range of devices such as, your mobile phone, laptop or tablet, in fact any smart device with a camera, speaker and microphone.

Our video clinic offers a safe alternative to attending your appointment in person and has been incorporated into our person centred care package to increase opportunities and accessibility for all services at First Steps ED.

Our weekly peer groups have all now moved online and still offers yoga, creative arts and many other events to get involved in.

We will continue to follow the most up-to-date Public Health advice and update our policies as required. If you have any queries or would like more information, please get in touch.
