EAST MIDLANDS MENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE
4TH SEPTEMBER 2019
UNIVERSITY OF DERBY
FEEDBACK
Our Mental Health Conference on 4th September 2019 at University of Derby was a huge success. We were pleased all of our key note speakers accepted invitations and delivered the most interesting and engaging talks. After being warmly welcomed by our Founder Cathy Cleary and First Steps ED CEO Kevin Parkinson, 150 delegates had a chance to enjoy the lectures presented by world-leading experts.
After attending the morning sessions, individuals also had a great opportunity to network with other professionals
and get familiar with local organisations supporting mental health of adults and children such as:
Derbyshire Autism Services, Project Sharp (CAMHS Nottingham), Happy Space and others.
Our Conference was also focused on promoting wellbeing and raising awareness of mental health and eating disorders.
Many of delegates joined our new #InspireMentalWealth campaign
During the lunch break our delegates could enjoy thought-provoking works presented by artist Caren Garfen
