Where we work

First Steps ED works in partnership with NHS providers and local authorities across England. In several regions, our services are commissioned and funded by local Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) or Universities, helping us provide vital support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

Areas we cover
We currently provide a range of free services in the following regions:
  • Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire eating disorder service for all ages.
  • Berkshire eating disorder service for all ages.
  • Birmingham and Solihull eating disorder service for all ages.
  • Buckinghamshire eating disorder service for all ages.
  • Coventry and Warwickshire eating disorder service for children and young people.
  • Derbyshire eating disorder service for all ages.
  • Hertfordshire eating disorder service for children and young people.
  • Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland eating disorder service for 5 – 25.
  • Lincolnshire eating disorder service for students.
  • Nottinghamshire eating disorder service for 16+.
  • Oxfordshire eating disorder service for all ages.
In these areas, some services are funded directly by the ICB. Where services are not commissioned, we offer private options to ensure help is always available. Please contact us for more information about specific services in your area or visit our Private Practice page for self funded services.
